What We Do
We design a wide variety of civil engineering structures for projects where we are either the sole designer or where we are working as part of a team.
Where necessary we undertake and organise site surveys, investigations, studies and assessments of existing structures including listed structures.
Scope
Bridges - road and foot/cycle bridges in masonry (reinforced or mass), concrete (pre-cast or in-situ, pre-stressed or reinforced) , steel and timber and composite
Culverts - pre-cast or in-situ reinforced concrete, masonry and composite
Retaining Walls - gravity and cantilever walls in masonry, mass and reinforced concrete, sheet piled, proprietary systems and reinforced earth
Tanks - reinforced concrete water retaining structures, foundations for pre-fabricated tanks
River Structures - environmental designs for training walls, revetments, weirs, outfalls, access ramps and control structures in concrete, masonry, armourestone, timber and steel
Maritime Structures - sea walls, slipways, wharfs, breakwaters, revetments in concrete, masonry and armourstone
Pavements - flexible or rigid (concrete) or modular construction depending on ground conditions and loading
Earthworks - cuttings, embankments, small dams, flood banks and reinforced earth structures
